Saving PowerPoint Files

To save your presentation click on file, then “save as” (see Image One).

The default is set to save your presentation as a .pptx file in your “my documents” folder. Simply name your file and designate where you want this to be saved.

To email your file, simply send the file as an attachment.

To save in a different format, select options in the Save As dialog box to save a file to a different file name or format, and to location that you want. If you are saving a file that has not been saved before, the Save As dialog box appears automatically when you click Save.
